Do the other ducks have access to the nest? If yes, i would mark the original eggs with a pen, because once your ducks will start to sit and stop laying themselves, the other ducks will sneak in and smuggle their eggs into the nest.
They did that for over week with my duck and as a result my duck was sitting for five days on her nest before the last duckling had hatched.
