Hi! I live on a neighborhood pond in Lexington, SC. What started out as 2 ducks as apparently someones pets in neighborhood years ago, have now turned into 19 ducks who live in my backyard/pond area, and the people take no responsibility for them. I took care of many babies over the summer, putting them in at night, and feeding them the proper foods for growth. I don’t feel like they are getting the nutrients they need around our pond with the overabundance of turtles who are also continuing to reproduce. Does anyone have advice on this? I still feed them duck scratch, especially in the winter. But, I can’t get any help from our HOA, and my husband is not on board with how much I spend on them monthly! I really hate to see them go, but they really need more than I can give them. They are the sweetest, friendliest animals! I’m looking to rehome maybe 10-12 of them to possibly the same home. Anyone out there looking?
