Ducks laying

Hello! I’m new to duck raising and I think my ducks are going to lay there first eggs soon but I’m not sure... they are about 5 lbs each and from what I researched on one of them I am able to fit 4 fingers between there pelvic bones. I’m not sure if that means they’ll lay soon and if so how many days exactly? Thanks

What breed are they ? Sounds as if they will lay soon if they are not already doing so.

We don’t know the exact breed however we were told they were Anconas however we don’t think they actually are because of there coloring...

By the pictures they are too young, and one may even be a drake. Have you voice sexed them ?

We don’t know the exact breed however we were told they were Anconas however we don’t think they actually are because of there coloring...

Haha that was 2 months ago they are females and have been voiced sexed they were born May 21

So sounds like eggs soon. My May 12 baby stared three days ago. She's a Saxony. The WH May 12 started almost a month ago. Do you have oyster shell for them?
