Ducks not mating?

I have 3 ducks, 1 male Magpie, and 2 Khaki Campbells and their eggs are never fertilized. Any ideas why?

How old are your ducks?
It takes a little while sometimes for the male to get the hang of it.

Are they all cooped together?

My male is around 9 months old and my girls are both 2 years old.
They are all together and never leave each others side.

How do you know they’re not fertilized?

If he is 9th months old then he was a baby in the spring and early summer when hormones and fertility would be the highest. This time of year it is lowest. I suspect you will get fertile eggs in the spring
