Ducks run help please!

how do you keep grass in your run? I have tried everything I can think and can't keep grass in the chicken, or the duck run

I am trying a ducky deck for mud control. Not in use yet so we'll see.



Still working on it but they will have access tomorrow.

I put mine up on base to lift off the ground. I noticed with the pool right on the ground they were using the pool water to make mud to dig for bugs, when not in the pool. Raising just above their heads helped a lot. Still wet from splashing, but not as bad. They just need a ramp to get in and out.

I got the rest done and opened that area back up. Now that it works.

Sorry I have duckling with a bum leg not on here daily like I wish I could be. Pardon the tall grass this isn't being used right now due to predators. It's just lumber on 4x4.

Twisted leg outta the egg, finally get a vet to see her. Put on a soft splint to twist foot forward. It worked slightly. But the leg was straight in the splint for a week. Now the knee is tight, and she cannot bend on her own, but I can. The vet just said to let her just hop on one foot and give her a protected life. Another vet today just said no need to see the duck just make sure I am feeding duck food. I am at a loss. No vets in the area will see her. No rehab in the area. All I know to do is physical therapy. But still open and looking answers. Local bait shop doesn't even sell live meal worms. So now trying to find niacin supplements.

Massage while in the warm water may help to. Can you post a picture of the leg. Buy dried meal worms that’s what most of us get. Do You think she’ll be able to walk on the leg once your done with rehab even enough to get around?
