Ducks shake their heads at night

I have noticed my ducks (mallard rouen) shake their heads at night time after they have been put away. During the day I do not see this, and they are active, happy foraging ducks. I have checked them for lice and mites but I haven't seen anything, am I missing something?

Best thing would be to get a video of what your seeing. Are they sticking their head in a water bucket before hand, can you see if anything else may bring this on?

They probably noodle in the bedding and without water the bedding is causing them to shake their heads.

My ducks do what @chickens really said - they noodle around in their bedding then shake - then do it again. It's hysterical to watch. But if you think it's more than that, a video would be great!
