Ducks won't swim???

My Grandmother has had her ducks for about 10 years, and they have never had swimming water. When I went out to see her, I wanted to see if they would swim in a little kiddy pool but because they have never been around water they would have nothing to do with it.

I have some ducks that will play in ever inch of non-dried out land they can find for lack of water dishes/ponds(because they splashed it all out) and then I have a couple that will take tiny sips between bites of chow and NEVER EVER try to step on anything wet...and actually come in out of the rain and everything...HATE the water hose...hate being muddy....

But that's only 2 out of 30 some odd ducks.

my pekin, rouen and mallard love the water expecially right after i clean it in the morning. But my buff won't get in their tub at all. Silly duckling.
