Hey y'all, so I have 4 chickens that I've had for about 6 years and one new one of about a year. Anyway, I moved out of my parents house a while ago and my new place didn't allow chickens, but recently they finally gave the approval, I plan on getting the next year so that I have plenty of time getting everything ready, but I want at least two ducks as well, and yes they approved that to. Anyway I know quite a bit about chickens but near to nothing about ducks. What do they need? Are they fairly similar to chickens in raising them? What are the benefits to having ducks? We have two dogs that like to chase things, they are in a fenced in yard in the back. the chickens and ducks would be separated by keeping the coop in the front yard. I plan on getting 5 chicken's and two ducks next year 2022, mostly because I'm nowhere ready for them yet and want to get as much knowledge about ducks as possible to make sure I'm doing it right.
