I looked at the photo, but I have no idea what they are other than they are not runner ducks.

That is as mush as I know too

I didn't see the article you're talking about, but I'm hatching out some Golden Cascade ducklings right now and here's a link to pictures of what they look like - kinda fawnish/tanish:

Thats not it. thanks for trying.

No, wish I did.

I have the magazine, but not sure of them either-maybe Khaki Campbell? But how about Blue (or Black) Swedish and Cayuga ducks? I have some of each and am hatching out their babies as I type. Here are pix of the parents and babies...My 4 girls lay 4 eggs everyday...none in winter (well, not very many) but I have more duck eggs than I know what to do with. Along with too many chicken eggs also.

My ducks have always lived with chickens and they get along great.

A good egg laying breed I would say is Cayuga, I always had good luck with my pair. My female laid everyday.

I love my Blue Swedish. I'm pretty sure I have a pair. I got them as straight run and got lucky. They're just over two months old now. And I'm getting two khaki campbells soon too. I'd love to have some anconas one day. They are really gorgeous!
