BBR and red duckwing are terms for the same thing.
Duckwing refers to the red/brown patch on the secondaries of the roosters. Crowwing roosters have solid black secondaries.
Gold and silver duckwings have a white patch on their secondaries- if it will help point out exactly what/where the duckwing patch is.. (gold and silver duckwings are a red duckwing with extra genes that make them look different, but genetically they ARE BBR/red duckwing)
The poultry hobby is full of multiple names for the same thing OR same names for different things, it does get confusing.
Birchen, Lemon Blue Moderns, Black Copper Marans are all crowwings.
Light Brown Leghorns are red duckwings (see, yet another name for BBR/red duckwing..)
