Duckwing , crowwing?

BBR and Duckwing are color varieties.

Black Breasted Red
Silver Duckwing
Golden Duckwing

I'm not sure I fully understand the question.

BBR and red duckwing are terms for the same thing.

Duckwing refers to the red/brown patch on the secondaries of the roosters. Crowwing roosters have solid black secondaries.

Gold and silver duckwings have a white patch on their secondaries- if it will help point out exactly what/where the duckwing patch is.. (gold and silver duckwings are a red duckwing with extra genes that make them look different, but genetically they ARE BBR/red duckwing)

The poultry hobby is full of multiple names for the same thing OR same names for different things, it does get confusing.

Birchen, Lemon Blue Moderns, Black Copper Marans are all crowwings.

Light Brown Leghorns are red duckwings (see, yet another name for BBR/red duckwing..)

So, how do you classify a White OE? How about Blue, Self Blue , Cukoo, or Columbian?

Any bird that is a solid color with no secondary patterns on the feathers is classified as self. A self blue bird has no edging or lacing on the feathers and is a solid blue color.

The columbian or black tailed red variety do not qualify as duck wing or crow wing either but are an established color pattern based upon black being restricted to the tail, wings and hackles. Some columbian restricted birds have more black than others, so it depends on the breed.

Some male birds with secondary patterns are duck wing or crow wing while others are not either duck wing or crow wing. Silver penciled wyandottes are an example the males are duck wing. You do not categorize them as duck wing or crow wing but refer to them according to their color pattern. This is true of many varieties of chickens.
