It's been a while, but I did a photo shoot with an all-black background last night. My original bird of focus was my crooked-toed EE, Lilac, as I wanted to get some pictures of her on that background. Then, after I was done with her, I did Beatrix, my Whiting True Blue hen. She's molting, but her face feathers have already come in, so I focused on her face only. Lastly, I did Bear, my hen Midnight's son. (Midnight was the first ever hen I did on the all-black background.) He didn't do as well as his mother, but I still got a couple of good shots of him. Anyway, here are the pictures:

Something to note on this photoshoot: Every one of these chickens has some type of deformity. Lilac has crooked toes, which developed when she was a young pullet, and Beatrix and Bear both have hairline crossbeak, with Bear's being a little more noticeable (though not so much in these pictures). I did not purposely plan this photoshoot that way and never realized it went that way until now. I hope you all enjoyed!
