Here ya go. First one is the "in flight" as the car is coming around on him and he's trying to get it back. second is where he ended up. You can see him with his tongue out in both. :)

I got chicks the other day and I've done a few photo shoots with them already. There's still snow on the ground, so I can't do any pictures outside, so I've been using some different props with them inside.

Chicks in the carriage:

Unfortunately, when the Totality began, I couldn't find a point of focus enough to get good clear photos of it. I still captured the colors of it, but I was disappointed that I couldn't get the pictures clear enough. The last three pictures are of the ones that I thought came out the best and clearest which were simply taken by me adjusting the lens a hair between each shot trying to get it clearer.

On the overall Eclipse, I was very excited to see it and was thankful that it was clear enough for me to see and photograph it. This was the second time I photographed a Lunar Eclipse but the first time I did so with the cameras and lens I was using, which- did a whole lot better than the cameras I was using when I attempted it years ago.
I loved seeing the 'shadow' on the moon while still being able to see the moon itself, which was very unique, and using the telescoping lens gave me a closer view of it all. A pack of coyotes kept yipping and howling in the distance, and in the beginning I even heard a Barred Owl, which made the experience even more unique.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing these pictures!

Photos from this morning:

First up, is my tulips. After trying for a couple of years, I have successfully grown some tulips, which I'm very excited about. I had actually forgotten where I had put these, so it was quite a surprise seeing them come up amongst my lilies.

Some dandelions:

These are some flowers that the person who had my place before me had planted and they return every year. I don't know what they are besides that they were a part of some wildflower seeds.

A couple of pictures of last night's moon:

IMG_8062.JPG(2).JPG

This one still had a tree blocking it a little:
IMG_8056.JPG

I wish I could have captured the pink hue around it. It was amazing. I probably would have captured more pictures last night, but the mosquitoes were terrible and I was having some issues where my camera stand wasn't cooperating with my telescoping lens. I'm so thankful that my Mom had said something about the moon though, because I would have missed it if she hadn't!

Wow! I saw that moon too, though it wasn't last night, it was a couple nights ago

It's been awhile since I took note of how many pictures I take and hearing others say how many they've been taking, I decided to take note again. Here's the stats of my last few photo shoots:

(Note, these do not include deleted pictures.)

June 4, 2025 photo shoot:

Main focus: Updating pullet pictures
Cameras: Two - T5 & T7
Picture amount: 253, one camera, 449, other camera. Total: 702 pictures

June 16, 2025 photo shoot:

Main focus: Pullet pictures for possibly entering BYC Calendar
Cameras: Two - T5 & T7
Picture amount: 131, one camera, 297, other camera. Total: 428 pictures

June 19, 2025 photo shoot:

Main focus: Getting pictures of rescued kittens
Cameras: One - T5
Picture amount: 752 pictures

(If you're unfamiliar with what I'm using for cameras and is confused by what I mean, I'm referring to my Canon EOS Rebel T5 and Canon EOS Rebel T7. My favorite camera is my T5 which usually has a 18-55 mm lens, and my T7 usually has a 75-300 mm lens on. When I'm doing outdoor photo shoots, especially with chickens, I'll switch between cameras instead of switching between lens.)

This post is a bit picture heavy as I was doing four litters of kittens (thirteen kittens in all), so I'll separate each litter into Spoilers. On some of the kittens, I was able to capture a few good pictures, and on some I barely got one, so I'll be having more pictures of some than others.
These kittens' mothers were all abandoned strays that we had been feeding. We were told that they were in a Catch-Neuter-Release program which proved to be wrong. Thankfully, we were able to capture all the mothers and find their nests, and now we are taking care of them (inside) until the kittens are old enough to find their forever homes.

There is two kittens in this litter and they had too much energy for the photo shoot:

Ninja Jr. He was named after the neighbor's cat that is obviously his father:

This kitten loved my backdrop. Thankfully he didn't hurt it:

This is one of the friendliest kittens. He did very good with the photo shoot:

My personal favorite kitten:

There is three kittens in this litter. This litter is actually quite special as they were born the same time my newest niece was being born. 🥰

Double-pawed kitten:

And the last kitten in the litter:

And this kitten. After doing this photo shoot, I suddenly realized that she kinda looks like a cheetah in the face:

Here's a bonus picture that's not in a Spoiler. I've been wanting to do a photo shoot of my Mom's cat, Pepper, and my set-up was at her place (that's were the kittens are) so I took the opportunity. My main focus was the kittens, so I didn't spend a lot of time with her and only got one good picture:

I hope you all enjoyed this photo shoot!
