Goodness yes, lol. They'd go kaput before the end of fall.
My Pineapples will finally go into the ground in the Duck garden area. Some are 5yrs old and still in pots. I don't think the ducks will beat them up to bad. Chickens don't. The Goats made a jail break the other day and attacked my lime trees... until they found out they had thorns.

I wouldn't bet on that. :oops:

My ducks did way more damage to my garden than chickens ever did.

So, outside the habit it is... Still in cages to save them from the dog pee.
