Ducky problems!

I've had them since they were a day old. I originally had six ducklings, 3 Pekins and 3 Anconas. At 7 months old I had to get rid of four of them. Six ducks was just too much poop! I've had these 2 for about 8 months now. I will try holding him down. He used to follow me around the yard all the time. While he was following me he would peck me on the ankles! Someone told me to hold him down on his belly every time he pecked. He doesn't follow me as much anymore, but he stopped pecking me. He only pecks me when I am messing with "his girl"!

I know it's in us to want to pick them up but maybe if you stopped picking your duck up your drake would behave himself. When your holding her how is she acting. Just wondering if this could be part of the problem if she is quacking loudly in protest to get down.

Yes, I know! You just want to hold them! Maybe I will try to stop holding them unless necessary. She used to quack loudly when I held her. Now she makes quiet little quacks. Like she's talking to the drake.

I have been running at the drake every time he acts aggressive. I also haven't been holding the hen. I think it's working!
Thanks for the ideas!
