I so knew he would. Even with that horrid button, he can look past that for the cool chicken foot, you know.

that is totally wrong!!! it's gross!!! (so obviously, no you are not the only one who thinks it is just plain wrong.) ugh. how would you ever get that idea and WHY would you ever ever EVER wear it?????!!!!

As an update, the seller responded to my convo with a sincere apology for the mistaken identity. I won't print it all here, but she is basically creating what SELLS as opposed to her fine jewelry creations that wasn't selling due to the cost of sterling silver.

On another note, the announcement here on BYC has generated a huge amount of interest- some messages were pretty rude, but the majority said what I said- not to my taste, but to each his or her own. So she got a lot of free publicity from BYC!

The #1 question? Where to get chicken feet! The answer is the ethnic grocery stores.

So, I'll say it.

I like this :3. I'd wear it, I've even hazard. I love taxidermy, and I've always actually had a fascination with talons and birds' feet, so this is right up my alley. Then again, I already have a set of robin's feet and a set of cardinal's feet, sooo. The execution is a little shaky, but I'd wear it.

Then again, my northwestern upbringing lends me to a fascination with animal preservation and vaguely Native American styles, so.

So no, I'm not grossed out at all xD. Just wanted to speak up :3.

In all honesty, if money wasn't tight I would most likely get it for my son....but it isn't a major holiday and his b-day was in January...so I suppose he won't be getting it. And yeah, he'd wear it, and, to school I am sure. He took his alligator head to school and got it broke in his backpack. *sigh* Oh, and someone mentioned shrunken heads....I am not sure if it would even be legal to have a real one, but he has fake ones hanging in his room. And right over the door on the outside is a sign that says "autopsy room" LOL
