lol yeah they do the SND thing, Sleeping Not Dead, hatching is hard work.
The chicks do it after they hatch too they fall asleep in weird positions, had one bantam fall asleep with its neck, legs and toes stretched out looking like rigormortise, hes up peeping and pestering one of the BCMs now.
oh so sad. out of 40 set eggs, only 3 hatched. we're on day 22 and there are no signs of life (pips or sound) in the other eggs. they were all moving around great just before lockdown. I'm so bummed.
trying to figure out what happened. will start eggtopsy tonight after everyone else is asleep.
