Aww I'm glad the bitten bird made it through the night! Good luck with her.

Caught a coon here last night, a huge one. And am cursing cuz I really wanted to catch the fox, it's been the bigger problem. Sigh... Oh well, guess I get to get rid of both.

We're getting the county to trap the fox, I think. What they do with it is NOT my problem, as long as it gets far, far away from here..

I had a talk with my incubator AND my broody, and still, nothing.

I also called Ideal. My chicks are shipping this afternoon. I should have them sooooon! It's all the breeds I couldn't find at the time to hatch. Not show quality, but I'll still love them with all my heart.

MIRACLE ALERT! Chickedy, China's sister, showed up today. She must've run into the woods. I had looked for her, but I guess she went faaaaaaaaaaar. She's COMPLETELY unharmed! Just a little shook up. She spent the night in the woods. I'm so proud of her! I've reunited the two.. Ahh, I'm just so happy!

Now, all we need is a pip!

I candled, flashlight finally got here...

All 12 guinea eggs are going.

4 of the six turkey eggs going normal, one other ??? Looks like there's trouble in the fifth.

Of the Partridge Rock regular eggs 9/10 are normal and going, one is a tad odd.

Of the found eggs only one shows veining so they weren't far along when I found them.

One double yolk was clear the other appears to be going...

Nonsense I can stop any time I want...

I'm incubating eggs due on the 23rd! I hope they hatch. It;s only 3 as I am using R-Com mini. I'm looking forward to it.

I got home, hoping there would be peeping.. Yet, there is still nothing.
Chickedy and China both laid me eggs. I want to incubate them.. So.. Badly.. Must resist! I think we're getting some speckled sussex eggs to go in the incubator next.. Yaaaaaaaaay!

Yet, I want these to hatch. NOW.
