Due the 22nd? Hatch with me!

Mine are due the 22nd. Out of 24 buff orpington eggs and 24 black austrolorps, I have a total of 29 who have made it this far. Half of these were shipped eggs so I evidently had some scrambled. I kept them in the 'bator until day 15. They were still clear so I finally tossed them.

I have no peeps or pips yet either. But, I'm so hoping for 29 healthy chicks this week!
 
Good luck, hobbyfarmer! I'm in a similar situation.. I threw out half of my most-wanted eggs. Brabanters and spitzhauben. Oh, and blue cochins. It killed a little piece of my soul.. But hopefully the rest of them will hatch. I'm crossing my fingers for all of us!

Yah me too. Half the silkies went into the trash. And then last night 10 showgirl eggs from another hatch date went out...

Come on little chickies!

My hatch date is the 21st so they are a little early....which is just fine by me. How can you leave the little thing in the incubator? I have to sit on my hands.......he sounds so sad. So after 48 hours I take whatever has hatched out?
