Due to hatch the 17th! *3 chicks so far!*

I have never heard of that before!!!! Does it work really well?

I tried it with some BCM's I bought hoping to get 2 girls and 1 boy........so far, that looks like what I've got. I've done it on hatches here at my house and have been quite successful with the results.

Well we got 4 chicks and the other 3 eggs were clear. When is it safe to take them out and hold them? I want them to be friendly. Are my hands warm enough to keep them comfortable? It's like 82 out today so it's not cold...I just don't want to kill them by removing them from the heat. I can't figure out what you mean by the wing feathers...do you mean the little shafts (pin feathers) or the wing itself? Can you get me a picture of what a male looks like compared to a female?

You can only feather sex if the one parent has longs feathers and one parent has short feathers. You cant do it for every breed.
