I looked and searched to see if there was a key to all the abbreviations I see about the breeds - some I can figure out - EE=Easter Egger, etc. but some I have no clue. Can someone point me in the direction of where I can find out what these abbreviations for for the breeds stand for? [IMG] Sorry for the dum-dum question!

No question is dumb, if you learn from it. [IMG] Most are just the first initials of the full name.

    JBG - Jersey Black Giant
    SLW - Silver Laced Wyandotte
BLRW - Blue Laced Red Wyandotte
    CM - Cuckoo Marans
    GPH - Gold Penciled Hamburg
    OEG - Old English Gamebirds

I was able to find some abbreviations using the Search tool. Just type in 'Breed Abbreviations' under keyword search and 'Breeds in General' for the forum. There is a nice discussion there.
