DuMans breed of poultry?

HI ALL
In some of my older poultry books it has the DuMans as one of the breeds in the origin of the LaFleche. I would like to know more about the DuMans breed. If anyone has any info. or pictures on this breed please post it.

Edward Browns '' Domestic Race of Poultry ", I think that book has info. on the DuMans breed.

but I did run across a couple of pages about rooster fighting in another language that showed some game type birds where that name was used. They did have a very high carriage.

I'm not quite certain if this matters, but it does speak of a "du Mans"

I believe the correct spelling is "Du Mans" but that's just how I've seen it written before.
