DuMans breed of poultry?

In some of my older poultry books it has the DuMans as one of the breeds in the origin of the LaFleche. I would like to know more about the DuMans breed. If anyone has any info. or pictures on this breed please post it.

I'm not quite certain if this matters, but it does speak of a "du Mans"

I believe the correct spelling is "Du Mans" but that's just how I've seen it written before.
