Three nesting boxes, three hens. Simple, right? Well, unless you're a Dumb Cluck!!!

Everybody fights to get into that nesting box, while the other ones are lying empty.

Nobody likes that empty box on the left. I dunno.

Maybe it's haunted or something?

That is funny. I have hens that do that too. What our chickens do. Gotta love them

LOL, mine have favorite spots, too! I've seen 3 at a time, all saying it's MY box!

I guess that is what makes them a bit endearing. They are a bit goofy. Beautiful birds. Are they ISA Browns?

LOL! My chickens do the same thing. 6 hens 3 roos pile up into 4 boxes and leave the other four empty.haha

Mine too! They will NOT lay in the box I thought was far superior.....haunted, ha, that may explain it!

Yeah, it's just so... well... OBVIOUS.

Obvious that the chickens know something about it that I don't, that is. LOL!

Found four more eggs in that box this afternoon, and none in the other two...
