Dumb clucks! - Silly photos of silly hens!

I have a very social buff brahma who refuses to lay in an empty nest! She's a really big girl though so she usually gets squawked at when she sits on one of my smaller hens.

My chickens are the same way. My coop has 6 nesting boxes. I have 7 hens. They lay in 1 or 2 boxes, and fight over them. They have NEVER laid in 4 of the boxes. Ever. Strictly decorative, I guess.

This scarse me! I have 31 with 4 nest boxes. I DID think some would pass but everyone is well....... if you drink the water at my house you will live forever! I have a 40 year old horse........ I'll have 20 year old chickens. lol.
