Dumb Coop Question

It’s still 6” on the coop side. I’m going to make a bit of a platform on the coop side to make things easier to get there and Perch there before hopping into the nest box.
I appreciate the input.

No perch or platform is needed unless bottom of nest opening is over their heads.
Main reason for a perch in front of nests is so they can see into the nests before choosing one.

If you want a super duper easy "platform", just use some bricks. Cheap, zero work, easy removed if you don't want them there anymore.
