Dumb little chick won't drink

Just found a solution that has worked perfectly for the last 50 or so Chicks that I remove from my incubator after 24 hours, and teach them to drink within a few moments or even seconds. (Yes.... I do agree shiny marbles work well, but that's a waiting game.) This is what I always will do now as it works so well. Best regards.

I tap the edge of the waterer and they come running and stick their faces in there. I mostly came here to tell you we had a chick like that, it's the one in my avatar photo. I spent the better part of a day waiting for her to drink and dipping her beak in the water. She would stand and yell up at me then when I would dip her beak in she would drink, a little while later she would start yelling again. I was like . Snickers is still kind of a dingbat, even 5 weeks later .

Yea, the chick that I couldn't get to drink is pretty grown up now, but she's still clearly not 100% there lmao. She'll spend LITERALLY hours pecking at a single spot on a wall or rock. There's never anything there....

I feel like that is the fate of my sweet Snickers too

Do you have a syringe with no needle on top. If not take the needle off and fill the syringe with water and slowly give the chick the water through the syringe. That what I do when we have sick chicks.
