Some people are more comfortable eating store bought eggs instead of fresh homegrown eggs, and I can’t fathom the reason as to why

My family does because they saw the hens eating dog poop once. Haven't touched on of their eggs since then apart from when I put them in my baked goods and don't say anything

This isn't chicken related but when my cat went missing I told my friend and she goes "where did she go?" and I stare at her like "sweetie if I knew where she was I wouldn't say she was missing"
