Dumbest Things People Have Said About Your Chickens/Eggs/Meat - Part 2 : Chicken Boogaloo.

Pics
Hey Spartan22. Thank you for your genuinely great answers to these dumb questions. I should have made it clear that these are silly questions that people have asked me about my chickens. I think they are quite hysterical. I must have read three books about chicken keeping before we adopted our little babies. I also regularly visited sites like BYC and others to gain additional knowledge so that I would be prepared for chicken keeping, and I guess to answer silly questions from friends and family.
Thanks again for your very kind response.

Ha ha ha, no problem. I misread your first response, (These were the questions you were asked by friends). Sorry!!!!

Hey,
Never fear retirement! I am a retired teacher and I find that there is never enough time in the day for all the things that there are to choose from. You are on this site so you already have an interest that may keep you as busy as you wish. If you live in the same town as your school then you will always have someone to talk to. It's amazing how many times people will come up to you and share a laugh from the past or remind you of something special that you did for them or one of theirs or a friend. Take a moment or two and think of all the things that you haven't have had time for, and think of all the marking and report cards that you will never have to do again! Think of all the great kids that you can call on or hire to help you improve your place so that you can do even more interesting things than you are now. You've got a scooter! Get yourself a big pup. Teach it to harness and then teach it to pull! No car required and a great way to start a conversation! The sky is the limit! Best wishes.

Hey, I am new to the site and misplaced my response to the 70 year old, still teaching and wondering what to do about retirement teacher from Georgia.. I saw where my response ended up and was just as surprised as you. My response is totally out of context here. Sorry, but not sorry for responding to that teacher. After teaching as long as he or she has, I don't blame him or her for being apprehensive. I just wanted to help. Have a good day, eh!

I actually think if you cruise threw the older messages you may find them
I do not know the person but seem to recall you talking with her/him a bit
and then could send them a private message

I think that was me, but I'm a 70 yr old school psychologist in GA who is apprehensive about retiring. However, I'm a late comer to the profession, currently starting my 18th yr; 6 yrs of full-time college/married mom before that, and years in another profession before that, so I'm not sure about Being at home full-time in retirement. Thanks for your support. I'll manage somehow ... I always have.
