Quote: Not possible. They are the garbage cleaners of the ocean.

What do shrimp eat? Developed Stage
(Wild)

Many species migrate to shallow and brackish waters foraging on the bottom. They consume plant detritus, worms, decaying animal parts such as clams, fish and snails. As they move about they promote the growth of algae. Many species are cannibalistic.

Had a friend over when the neighbor was sweet enough to bring use a venison shoulder. I stripped it down and put the meat in the freezer. Gave the scapula to the chickens. My friend was horrified. The little velociraptors descended on it with a vengeance. My friends, " My god they are so vicious!"

I don't think people realize that chickens are pretty vicious with their food. Especially if it's fresh meat. Hell, they can even turn to cannibalism if you leave them alone long enough with a wounded hen.

My neighbour refuses eggs from my chickens because I have a rooster.

They are scared there will be sperm in the egg!!!!!

They only like the eggs form the supermarket that are in plastic boxes with date stamped on them.

I guess they don't eat caviar...

The general public is so out of touch with where their food comes from. Everything must be either on TV, or over processed on a grocery store shelf. Now, I admit I was born and raised a city person. But I had/have an open mind to trying different foods. I eat deer, and enjoy it. I raise chickens, and love their fertilized eggs. And, am learning to process them for the dinner table too.

I enjoy a freshly caught fish, be it from the ocean or fresh water. I have bought fresh shrimp off of the boat, still kicking. And learned how to pop their little heads off before steaming. That, and quite a few other things.....is a long way from growing up in the midwest in a major city. As a kid, I knew buses, taxis, and Macy's...etc.
