this is true, many chickens will "hold it" in the house and wait to go outside to "go". Some have never been trained to do so. Each chicken is an individual!Actually all chickens can be trained to hold it, they just normally see no point to it.
Last year I sold some of my extra roosters to a young man in his 20's. He said he couldn't wait for eggs.I wonder if he is still waiting for eggs.
