According to my niece, eggs are generated in styrofoam cartons, milk comes out of a plastic jug, and Kentucky Fried chicken changed its name to KFC because they no longer serve meat from real chickens. This last is from an internet hoax she swallowed hook, line, and sinker.
I can believe that they no longer serve meat from real chickens. Yuck.

Gee. I happen to like KFC. However, if you are interested in the internet hoax, you can google KFC or go to snopes.com. It's kind of funny. I would like to meet the individual who came up with it. What surprised me, but shouldn't have, is the number of people who think it's true.

I guess it's just an individual thing.

The last few times I went to KFC the chicken was very fatty and not quite "normal", it had a weird taste to it. I've never actually heard that KFC didn't use real chicken, but comparing the KFC from years ago to the KFC these days, it's not a stretch in my mind (probably just a lowering of standards which is industry wide). It's kind of sad because I LOVED the KFC bowls. I just don't like the actual chicken pieces (breast, thigh, leg), like in a bucket or meal. They seem kind of gross to me after seeing the change in the chicken they use. I'm probably showing my age here, but when I was young, the chicken at KFC was really tasty and looked great. Now, not so much. just my opinion.

Just a comment. People's preferences do differ. What I think is wonderful, another person may think is inedible. That said, I have noticed a difference in quality from one KFC franchise to another. Most KFC stores have a number posted near the door you can call to give feedback. If you consider the chicken you were served to be substandard, call that number. If, on the other hand, you have gone to several KFC franchises and you don't like any of them then it's probably KFC in general and not just the chicken served at the one franchise you find unappealing. That's OK too.

Hmmm. It's always the same KFC that I used to go to. Maybe I should call and give feedback... Thanks for the information!
