I am from the south and after 25 years of driving a truck EVERY WHERE in this great country of ours the nicest people I have met are up in maine vermont and upstate new york. And lets be fair if I had to deal with big city traffic everyday twice a day and live ten feet from my neighbor, I would be on the evening news f or about a month. Lol

I am from Upstate NY!! i agree we get a bad rap.. because everytime I tell someone i an from NY.. they dont think of the rolling hills and farms...they think of the city..

I just got back from my first trip to SC.. and for the most part people were nice, but the only one I spent anytime talking to.. turned out to be a transplant from my home town up here... i found that out the day we were leaving!

I went to school in Boston, and when I'd bring my friends back home to visit the west coast, they'd get all freaked out because "everyone is flirting with me." I asked how they flirted ... "The guy in the store SMILED at me, then he asked me to let him know if he could help me find anything!"

Well, they sure can be quite "soft" when laid, and then the shell dries and hardens when it hits the air. But it happens FAST.

Re cost of farm eggs...where I am the can be had for$3.50 a dozen, which is not bad considering store eggs are up to almost $2 a dozen
