well when my grams found out how much i payed for my chickens she smacked me over the head and said "they are chickens not dogs!!" i keep forgetting that my grams lived through the depression and anything over $10 is VERY expensive

i never did get that before i get any animal i need to know how to take care of them i do not impulse buy pets nor will i ever and here go these people who have the "it's cute" syndrome and the animal ends up suffering because of the owners lack of knowledge.

I try to get every issue of "Chickens Magazine". I don't have any interest in "People" or "Glamour" magazines. It's amazing how much knowledge you can accumulate over just 3 years.
