Dumbest Things People Have Said About Your Chickens/Eggs/Meat

Not dumb, really, just plain refreshing: I went to grand parent's day at my GD school. I grabbed a dozen eggs, and handed them to the teacher when I met her. Oh my goodness! She lit up like the sun, and cradled those eggs like I'd just given her the greatest gift. She scurried down the hall and put them in the staff refrigerator. When she came back, she explained that she grew up on a farm, and hadn't had fresh eggs since her dad passed away!
My wife had a co worker whose husband was for Germany. He loved the eggs.

People hear the word cholesterol and immediately think BAD!!!!!!! There are different types of cholesterol! Eggs just happen to have GOOD type! So go ahead and eat the eggs! Big Macs are full of the artery clogging bad stuff!

I believe so if it's a commercial egg. This according to a quick internet search.

My information about the Pastured egg comes from an article of a 1999 test I have a copy of. Eggs and meat were tested from the farm of Barb Gorski and two other farmers.

McDonald's Big Mac is a Hamburger that has 75mg of cholesterol, which is 25% of the recommended daily intake.

One commercial egg has 187 mg. A pastured chicken egg has 34% less than a store bought egg or 63.58 mg if I did the math right.

What kind of fruit salad? I rather eat an egg than the "fruit" salads I've seen. But then I may be biased because I don't like wipped cream....
