I watched that three or four times, the look on the presenter's face is absolutely classic hahahahahaha. Poor wee boy (th feathered one I mean)

I know others have had this complaint before, but with half my girls molting, it's driving me insane. I have two customers that will only eat brown eggs (one who prefers not to get the "speckled" ones). They say the colored ones taste funny and aren't natural. Even the pink ones! The problem comes from the fact that a third of my flock lays blue, green or super pink. If they weren't regulars (aka steady income source) I'd tell them to get over it or buy elsewhere. Not sure what they'll do this week. It's an option of take a mixed carton, accept teeny pullet eggs or don't buy this week.

"Oh, this egg is brown, I don't like brown eggs, I only eat white."
I tried to explain that the inside is just the same and that the outside is brown, because my chickens are brown.
Never in a million years I would think that chickens get discriminated too. LOL
well, you can tell them to take sand paper to the outside of the egg and sand all the brown off.....no really you can.

Will that remove my freckles? LOL, it's weird how some people act. They are supermarket born and bred these peeps. Wouldn't know farm fresh if it hit them in their faces and also don't realise that what we provide is far superior to ANY supermarket egg

My main customer says only the brown eggs are good for baking. However I get mostly white eggs now since my brown egg layers are older they don't lay as well and my new girls aren't old enough. I can't wait to hear her response to my ee eggs

it should remove the speckes, just a fine grit sandpaper---just remember it takes the protective coating off the eggs(I don't wash unless pooped on)

Oh and how about the if I wanted white eggs I can just get them at the store they are the same and cheaper. I got into a heated debate of why that isn't true including a show in tell comparison between the eggs feed living conditions free ranging area ect

of course, the ones at the store have been washed. not fresh and the chickens that lay the eggs don't free range and probably are treated with all sorts of chemicals etc etc etc. chickens in production don't have it nearly as good as we all treat our chickens. the eggs also taste different from the store--a very milder flavor and the yolk is not a vibrant color either. we could go on and on--but people will argue with you all day long. you know what is right.!!! always remember something about people---perception is reality. and you can't change realtiy unless you change their perception and good luck with that. in our stores around here there is the choice of regular eggs, brown eggs and organic eggs. prices fall right around 1.50 to 1.99 for regular eggs, brown eggs 2.99 to 3. 49 and local organic eggs 4.99 to 6.99 a dozen. there is your apples to apples comparison
