her: is this what you do in your spare time? tie dye baby chicks? you so need to get to the city more often
me: doncha know i sit outside and paint them using Q-Tips and food coloring?

well... it got some laughs... it's obviously a color enhanced photograph... right? obviously...

today at the gas station, a local friend asked, "that's like a paint program, right? you don't really paint them do you? I bet a lot of people think you do paint them y'know..."

and I think... uhuh... and I've found their leader! mwaahaaaahaaaa!

all the money i save on entertainment bc i stick around here and watch the chickens... = profit
all the money i save on gasoline bc i don't have to mow the lawn or mess with weeds... = profit
all the feathery attention i get when i bring out a watermelon berry yogurt bomb = bye bye profit cuz i spent it on the birds again... = worth every penny!

Yeah, but where I live, even the meal worms cost an arm and a leg..I just can't win ! LOL but the frenzy that incurs is well worth the $$$
