Dumped Geese

It's as if people that abandon these birds are lazy and can't be bothered. They shouldn't have gotten the birds in the first plalce. If anything, people should read up on the animals they are going to bring home. Sure they are cute so is a fox but I'm not going to bring him home....... duh. Every animal has needs and you have to make sure you can meet those needs. No different then having a dog or a cat. I don't understand why they can't advertise on Craigslist, feed store, grocery store..... anywhere they can put up a flyer. Their is always someone (like me) out there that will take them. What bothers me is that some will ask for money and if they don't get it they dump the birds. Makes no sense to me........ give them to someone for free. Honestly.......... ugh. Ok, I'm done....... lol.

Most places have a Parks and Recreation Department. Call them and explain about the abandoned geese and see if you can get permission to capture them and remove them.

If you just take them without asking, you risk an expensive fine in some areas. You want to make sure it is OK to take them. Write down the name of the person that you talk to, in case there is a question about it later.
