And you're right. It's not the same as gathering around a table with pizza, chips, and other junk food while getting off track and then getting back to playing!

We've tried that with my dispersed group and it just wasn't the same. Timing was also hard with 3 hours difference in times for all of us and schedules.

You can play D&D online. There are tools such as Roll20 and you can integrate Discord in with it as well.

Yeah I can totally see how it would not be the same. There's just something about laughing and talking with each other in real life while playing D&D!
