Dust bathes

Ok I'm sorry if this is a dum question- once I finish the coop and move my chicks out to the coop- I'm planning on doing the DLM. What about dust bathes? Do I need to put like a litter box in there with DE or will they do there bathes in the run? So confused..

Our birds dust bath in either the coop or the run.

We're using the DLM with food grade DE and it's not unusual for me to do and egg check and see several of the girls dusting up a storm together on the coop floor.

Their favorite time to dust in the run is after we've had rain and the dreaded red clay isn't as hard as concrete.
