Dust baths? Teach or no teach?

Hello, I have 3 baby chicks (1 month and a half) and we want to know if they already know how to dust bathe or is there some way/trick to show them how to do it? (we don't have any rooster or mom). Thank you.

At 6 weeks you should have already seen them dust bathing if you spend much time watching them.
Hopefully they have someplace with some nice loose dirt that they can dust bathe effectively...
.....otherwise they will try to dust bath in pine shavings or whatever you're using for bedding.
