Hehe, I realize that. I had to do BW Photography for an assignment. I Was just wondering what you thought of their body type, ect?
Take my opinion with a grain of salt--I've been breeding and showing Dutch for only a couple of years, and while I have a good picture in my mind of what the ideal Dutch looks like, it's hard for me to put it into words.
But I think you've got a real nice pair there. Both of them could use nicer tails, but they have a nice tail angle, vs having a too-upright "squirrel tail" (something I am working against in some of my birds--and it is a pain in the booty, no pun intended!
). I'd rather have a tail that needed more fullness & spread than one at the wrong angle. I think it's easier to put on a nicer tail than it is to fix squirrel tail. Overall, they've both got nice Dutch type. I think I asked you upthread somewhere, but you got these from the Carrolls in Mass, right? They've got real nice birds. Are you gonna show these guys? You should! There definitely needs to be more Dutch at the shows.
Oh, BTW, very nice photos!
