I think I have one a female I named her Little Peep

My dear hen lost her life to a hawk . Im really sad. Please remember her . Could you please give me some advice for solving tge the problem

I made a chicken pen that was fasten to the fence from my house to keep the hawks away. It's working now. I will take a pic of it when I get home. Also I have put hen savers on my chickens that have eyes on the back of them it helps to some degree.

i have problems with hawks and owls at home here so i know what you are going thru my neighbor has problems with a fox getting his so i have mine up off the ground and a hard bottom under my pen and a top to keep flying starker out but my little chi chi dog only weighs 4pounds so when i walk her i constantly have to watch the sky and trees.

So, I got my Dutch yesterday! Her buddy I got her with pecked her head clean of feathers so were doctoring her at the moment but she's still the calmest chicken I've ever had! And she's a sweet heart! She's also not done molting yet.

I am so sorry for your loss. I'm still trying to design a hawk-proof run before getting any Dutch bantams. I hope to have it built by the end of the summer.
