These are very nice ducks and power layers of nice XL eggs. My stock is one year old and direct from Holderread's select hatching stock. They don't appear to be broody and thus are fantastic egg layers. A very calm breed as well. I have two trios available. Trio is one drake and two hens.

No! Not selling off, but I am getting too many eggs and new babies are hatching.

Do males and females both have the same colorations?

No - the males have grey under-bodies and dark green heads - see one of Birch Run Farm's older listings here for more pictures:

Birch Run Farm - I'm glad! They're my favorite breed of duck, and there aren't many of us out there who have them! I just got 6 new Hookbill ducklings from Holderreads on Wednesday! Four of them are the White-Bibbed like yours, and two of them are Dusky like the pair I already have.

I wish I lived closer - I'd buy a trio.

But then, I should really wait for the ones I have to grow up so I know what I have before I start buying new stock...
