Dutch Hookbill Hatch!

@Pyxis, will you be hatching more this season?

I'm not sure! The second hatch didn't go well, so I had all drakes and one hen. Obviously that wasn't gonna be okay for the hen, so I rehomed her. So I had only drakes and slowly found homes for them.

I may buy some more eggs this year and try again, but I was also thinking of doing some exhibition runners instead because they were bred for herding, and I recently got a herding breed puppy

What other poultry do you raise? Do you think there is a genetic biase towards the overwhelming number of hookbill drakes?
