uh oh you just created a monster! i have a feeling my white frizzle hen and rooster are going to change color at some point in the next couple days. he looks fantastic i bet you could put him on craigslist as an exotic jungle fowl...

no i think that that is one of the best ideas to spruce up a white chicken.
im a fellow 4-Her and i bathe my chickens before they go to the fair so their is nothing wrong with that.

If you put this chicken back in with other chickens, watch carefully to see how they react to it. I've heard of dyed chicks being pecked to death by other chickens because of their odd coloring. And that, in my opinion, is the main reason for not dying a bird's feathers.

I dyed one of my white chickens blue getting ready for a show, but it wasnt on purpose. Needless to say I couldnt show her.

Oh my gosh that is hilarious

And NOTHING wrong with it at all!!!!! Chickens can have baths, the food coloring is food-grade and totally non-toxic, and now you have a way cool looking chicken!

I have a few whiteys in the yard that may have a purple bath in their future
