My 1.5 year old chicken has been getting sick for months now, watery stools, she has been losing weight and the combs is very bluish pale. However, she has been very energetic and eating but not laying. A month ago I gave her wazine and no help. The last 2 days she is looking more lethargic and is mainly laying down now. Saw her eating and drinking as well today. Is there anything at all that I can try or do as one last trial before she goes?? Of note, all the other chickens are in the same coop and they are perfectly fine. She is our kids first chicken so we are very sentimental. Really appreciate any tips.

She is a black sexlink. We buy organic laying pellets mix and they get kitchen scraps.

What breed is she? What do you feed? Pictures of the bird?

I'm sorry you're going through this -- one of ours is currently ailing and it's so frustrating not to know how exactly to treat it. From my reading, keeping the sick chicken warm, safe and with access to water and food is the first step. This link talks about how to try to identify the issue (or at least eliminate some possibilities):

Someone in my thread recommended NutriDrench for a vitamin boost.

I'm fairly new to keeping chickens and have no idea what it might be but it sounds like it would be worth taking her to the vet. I hope she gets better soon but would it also be worthwhile quarantining her until you know what the problem is?
I know I am just afraid of the bill. It's $75 just to get it then all the tests, might be looking at $$
