Dying chickens

The mites are my enemy. They have taken down two of my girls. I now use Atroban 11 % FC I have it in a spray bottle and use it on the girls when I see the dirty things. Even in this summer heat they live off of the girls. And in the winter it is awful.

I too am fighting to save my chickens from the same thing. It is a nightmare for any bird owner. I have a Q about the eggs are they still good to eat. I'm kinda wondering since they are sick. I am going to spray seven in and around the whole coop and clean their water containers. I will also get corid and treat them that way too. Thanks to all that gave great advice as to what to do for my chicken. She is now eating on her own again. :)

Ok hoping someone can help me out. One of my Hens was doing fine one day and the next day she wasn't able to walk. So I am feeding her and giving her water from a suringe. She went from not being able to hold her head up to being able holding it up. She trys to get up but came not. How long should I allow this to go on? What should I do? I am confused on what is going on with my hen. Please help me!

Hello! First, post this in the emergencies thread, you will get better help there, if she is holding her head up today, that is a good sign, so give her a chance, she may be improving, but we need to know a little bit more about her situation. Does she have any other symptoms? Are any of her flockmates acting sick? Good luck with her.
