Gosh darn it. So sorry. I did learn, by another case of toxin ... when they do start to lose feathers, it is near the end. That symptom begins later, rather that sooner. I lost one last week end.

Wow! I'm so sorry. As someone new to the whole BYC scene I'm looking forward to my first chickens after some initial building at our home and you story is very sad to hear.

Our town just passed the city ordinances that allow urban chickens and we're so excited. There are so many things I don't know about though and plan on doing a lot of studying first rather than just jumping right in.

I don't want to cause any harm to my pets as a result of my own lack of knowledge in the first place. I wish you all the best!
