I'm guessing your formula needs to be entered into a cell on the worksheet that actually contains the information and not a different tab correct?

The information we're pulling for this list is on a different sheet and I know that can make slight changes in a formula to pull the information from a different sheet but I don't know exactly what I need to change on yours but I guess what I'm going to do today?

At least expand your columns so the names don't bleed over into other fields. lol

I don't know. I pulled that from Google. If the sort function added to your formal works, go with that
