Eagle egg under my buff

Have you heard the story of the farmer that put an eagle egg in his coop for a broody hen to sit on? When it hatched it thought it was a chicken like the others.
Their is eagle nests all over the place where I live, I'm thinking about stealing and egg and sliding it under my buff Orpington. She's a mad broody hen!!!
Highly illegal! An eagle?
 
The Migratory Bird Treaty Act prohibits the taking, killing, capturing, transporting, harboring of the birds or hatching eggs, that which are Native to the United States of America, Europe and central Asia. All are protected by state and federal agencies.
